Died of wounds aged 21 on 21st April 1918

Son of John and Mary Willis, of Broomhall, Worcester

Buried in Gent City Cemetery, Belgium, Grave C. 13. 

 

James Willis was born in 1897 in Wichenford, one of nine children of John and Mary who had married in 1886.  John was employed as a Farm Bailiff.  On the 1911 census James was living at home with his parents and 2 younger sisters at Voyce Place, Wichenford.  He was employed as a Cow boy on farm.
